It is our goal that you would never be inconvenienced by a power outage, and we work diligently toward it. But if you should experience an outage, we ask you do the following to enable us to restore your service promptly and to avoid unnecessary trips.

1. Check your fuses or circuit breakers. If some of your lights or appliances are still working, the trouble is probably within your own system. Be sure to inspect the main cartridge fuses in the fuse box.
2. If your fuses or circuit breakers are okay, check with your neighbors to see if they have electricity. This helps us determine if the trouble is in just your transformer or if we have a whole line out.
3. After doing the above, call the Pioneer office at 1-800-762-0997 to report the outage.
4. Unplug your appliances before power is restored.
