Don't forget to vote!
Exercising
the right to vote for those who direct Pioneer's business
demonstrates our members' concern for their investment in
this unique business system--so when the time comes, remember
to sign and mail your ballot (no member or employee ever sees your signed ballot).
Voting
is perhaps the most direct means the membership has to be
active cooperative members.
Annual Update given at the Meeting
Because Pioneer is a cooperative, owned by you and our other member-consumers, it is necessary and desirable to have a means of giving you an annual update on the business. Each year, we encourage you to attend Cooperative Spirit Day (Annual Meeting). The members you voted for will be announced and sworn in at the meeting. In addition, the Board and management give reports of the financial and operational status of the Cooperative for the previous year and a preview of where Pioneer Electric Cooperative is heading in the future. Any other
business that requires a vote of the membership takes place
at Cooperative Spirit Day.
Watch your Country Living magazine and check the website for information concerning the agenda and program details as the date draws closer.
