Pioneer is not a national player in the power market and we know that. But sometimes smaller is better. We still have the resources of a large company, yet our members get the individual attention they deserve. They talk to a person on the

phone, not a computer, when they call us. We take the time to answer their questions, address their concerns and we respond to their problems more like a neighbor than a power company.

Because our members may actually be our neighbors, supplying power is a personal issue to Pioneer. Therefore, profit is not our driving force. Pride and accountability are what drive us. With that in mind, we do everything we can to be a shining example of service and reliability.

Top-notch service and reliability go beyond just keeping the lights on, though. From our large industrial members to our small residential members, Pioneer's goal for service is to be proactive. We are constantly taking measures to ensure reliable power, now and in the future. That means making sure our members get the greatest value for the energy dollars they spend.

As a result, we were among the first in the state to implement technologies like the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for power efficiency. And our staff receives state-of-the-art training to stay up-to-date on the changes and advancements in the electric industry.
