Pioneer Scholarship Program

High School Seniors, are your parents members of Pioneer Electric Cooperative or do you live in a home served by Pioneer? Do you have a 3.5 grade point average or better? You could win a college vocational or technical school scholarship.

Pioneer awards four scholarships each spring to outstanding seniors. Two first place awards and two second place awards will be presented. A young woman and a young man will be selected at each level
First place prize is $1500 and second place prize is $1000.

The students are selected in an application and interview process. The young man and young woman chosen to receive the top two Pioneer awards are then eligible to compete with students from the other electric cooperatives in the state for additional scholarship money.

Applications will be available after the first of the new year by contacting Pioneer or may be completed on the internet, printed and mailed to our office.
