  • Announcing the 2012 Cardinal Coal Station Tour

    In mid-September, Pioneer Electric Cooperative will be offering a tour to the Cardinal Station located on the Ohio River, near Brilliant Ohio (on the east side of the state). This trip will allow you to see in person how coal arrives to the station and is transformed into CLEAN, SAFE electricity delivered to your home or business.

  • How do I locate my underground electric lines?

    - Pioneer Electric Cooperative locates underground lines up to the meter.  Any underground lines installed by the member or previous member will NOT be located.
    - We do NOT locate telephone or cable lines.
    - Locates are completed in the same manner as the Ohio Utilities Protection Services (OUPS), and Ohio law provides 48 hours WORKING notice.  (Does NOT include weekends/holidays.)
    - Contact the Ohio Utilities Protection Service at 1-800-362-2764.
